Appointments

We are regretfully now forced into having to apply an appointment system due to the covid-19 situation. We can no longer accept walk-in visits without having an appointment, though if you see an available time-slot and you can get to the shop within 2 hours after calling us to confirm, we will be happy to see you. It’s a real pain and we will suffer as much as you will, but it is what it is and we have to work at it. What this means is: 1. An appointment will last for 75 minutes, though we will continue to serve anyone who runs out of time. If you feel a longer time slot will be needed, then we suggest taking the last slot of the day as we will always stay open beyond the usual opening hours 2. Each customer is limited to having one other person with them. Sorry but this is common with all the local retailers. There is good car parking outside the shop so anyone else can wait in the car and be called on to give comment on the chosen outfit at the shop door, or just inside it. 3. Due to the necessity of having to work our schedules out so that we can see as many customers as possible in as safe a situation as is possible, we may have to do staggered overlap of time-slots with 2 appointments. 4. We have already found one of our competitors making an appointment booking. Obviously this is to mess us about and waste our time. For that reason we will ask for an online “Good Faith Deposit” of £10 at the time of booking. This will be fully refunded at the time of the visit, whether you buy something or not. 5. We will have an ample supply of hand sanitiser, face masks and gloves for those who want them. 6. All staff will have temperature checks at the start of shift and at midday and any of them showing a high temperature will be sent home. 7. We never apply sales pressure on your visit and you are free to leave without a purchase of course, but later appointment time slots are expected to get pretty full due to the double up effect of this years weddings being moved into next year. I know it’s a nightmare ladies and we fully understand your situation and will work with you as best we can. We may have to change a few things as we go forward when we get the feel of how things are working out
